Landscape with Technology
This publication, edited by R A Buchanan, is a collection of essays by various authors, issued in Tom Rolt's memory. The 104 page paperback comprises nine essays by 'Rolt Fellows' and members of the History of Technology Research Unit at the University of Bath. Professor Buchanan has written an Introduction recalling Tom Rolt’s life and recounting the history of the Research Fellowship which was established at the University of Bath in 1970, in Rolt's memory. The essays cover a wide range of subjects. Although no single theme has been prescribed, they are all of interest to historians of technology, and are as follows:-
